Pattern from Simply Crochet issue 28, page 38. Both berets are made using Darn Good Yarn Roving Silk Yarn in colors – black, and pink. The bottom left picture shows the black beret on top of a shoe box for size perspective.
These are knitted slouchy beanies, and because I couldn’t find Schachenmayr yarns locally I decided to make these hats with Lily Sugar’n Cream. 100% cotton yarn typically used for kitchen accessories, but I thought they would make a comfortable alternative for the South Florida heat (and they do).

The original pattern calls for pom-poms at the top of the hat, but I’m not a huge fan of pom-poms and so I opted to not include them.
